Rum Mixology & Salsa Dancing
Been there recently?
Begin your journey with an enthusiastic tour guide/bartender that will narrate details of the history of sugar cane and rum in the island during a brief walk through the colorful streets of San Juan. Meet the national drink of Puerto Rico: The delicious Piña Colada! We want to share how proud we are that the original Piña Colada recipe was made in Puerto Rico!
As you arrive to the Rum Lab, begin your mixology class where you will create two exciting Caribbean rum cocktails and learn how to garnish them. With your shaker or mortar get ready to make (and drink!) some unforgettable Puerto Rican rum cocktails.
Smell and savor hints of spices, strong molasses and caramel overtones of aged rum, flavored or crystal. Discuss and learn where each of these Puerto Rican rums are made, their differences and how to mix them. Enjoy some tasty appetizers with your drinks, and finally have your Salsa dancing instructor show you the stylish dancing moves of the culture.
It’s a party! We invite you to Rum, Sun and Salsa! Salud!
